NSPS Agenda

Below is the current schedule for the 2013 NSPS. Please note that topics, and presenters, are subject to change. In many cases you can click on the name of the presenter, or presentation, to learn more about them.

So what the heck are these Tracks? What exactly is the Brainstorming Session??

Glad you asked!
NSPS is broken down into four tracks:
1. Management (for those who are predominantly at the Executive Director/ Administrative Level),
2. Programs (for Program Directors/Managers)
3. Instructors (who are looking for more hands on tools)
4. First time attendees (for those who haven't been to NSPS before, and those looking for the "start up essentials).

Please note that the tracks are GUIDELINES. So, for example, if you're a first time attendee but see a topic in the Management track that you like- Go for it! We want you to get the most out of this event and attend what applies most to you and your organization. OUr tracks are meant to be helpful suggestions, not preventative.

There are two times when the tracks do not apply:
1. During the brainstorming session of the event (Thursday from 11:30-12:30 AM) attendees will be randomly assigned to rooms to network and brainstorm (more information on those sessions will be available shortly).
2. Friday afternoon from 2:10-4:00 when we take advantage of being at an offsite location (Clearwater Sailing Center) to do more hands-on activities.

If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to reach out to Stu Gilfillen, Agenda Coordinator, at stugilfillen@ussailing.org or 401.683.0800 x645.!
