US Sailing offers several opportunities annually that provide you the chance to connect with like minded individuals and learn more about program management and all the components that it includes.

The National Sailing Programs Symposium
The National Sailing Programs Symposium (NSPS) is the premier event for sailing education in the United States. NSPS is the only conference of its kind that brings together program directors, instructors, volunteers, parents and industry representatives to share and learn best practices with one another about running, maintaining and improving sailing programs. Our goal is to have participants coming out of the symposium with ideas to apply to their sailing programs to make them better and help them grow.


The Regional Sailing Programs Symposiums
The Regional Sailing Programs Symposiums are designed to serves as a discussion point for regional organizations. Topics are approached as an open forum with one designated moderator. Please note that as this event grows there may be multiple symposiums in one particular region of the country.

Attendance is free and the event usually runs on a Friday or Saturday from 10:00 AM- 5:00 PM. Events are held in the fall and spring at rotating locations within the following areas:
