Coaching Academy
Coaching Academy- Implemented in 2014
Upon completion of the Level 3-Coach certification, candidates will be invited to join The Coaching Academy, a platform for continuing education through the small boat programs. The Academy will be the vehicle for candidates to seek Level 4 certification by way of accruing “credits” through attending a combination of modules and classroom, or online, sessions. It will also serve as a way for Olympic caliber coaches to share their knowledge, experience and techniques with candidates while hearing from the development coaches (Level 3). The Coaching Academy will serve as a true continuing education opportunity for professional sailing coaches.
An Academy for those that are pursing the Management track will also be available in the futute.
