US SAILING's Training & Education Division relies upon the expertise and dedication of dozens of volunteers, making up several committees and councils.
Community Sailing Council - Promotes and supports community sailing in the U.S.
National Faculty - Working group of sailing education experts, responsible for the development and ongoing revision of Training & Education materials
Regional Training Coordinators- Nationwide network of volunteers who support the US SAILING office in the scheduling and management of instructor training courses and local promotion of US SAILING programs and services.
Sportsmanship Committee - Promotes the principles of good sportsmanship and fair play, and awards the W. Van Alan Clark, Jr. National Sportsmanship trophy annually.
Sports Medicine Committee - Counsels all of US SAILING on relevant matters, including injury prevention, sun safety, first aid, AED use, etc.
