Highlights of this year's event included:

• A full-day Fundraising Workshop

• Keynotes by Nick Hayes, Margaret Podlich and Dean Brenner

• The Search Institute's 41 Developmental Assets for Youth

• Meteorology/forecasting at the Advanced Coaching Symposium

• Sailor Bag totes, sponsored by the Gowrie Group, were issued to all registrants. 

• OpenBic hosted an essay contest for youth sailing programs. The winners received a free loaner fleet for the 2010 season. Congratulations to Charleston Community Sailing and Texas Corinthian Yacht Club, winners of the contest!
